Recognising and acknowledging Deaf culture and British Sign Language fully. Working with partners to develop innovative solutions and to promote these through service level agreements and contracts. We are continually working towards increasing the number and diversity of BSL/English Interpreters locally and providing better access to interpreters. Work in partnership with agencies by promoting issues faced by Deaf people. Raising awareness and lobby local government organisations to increase funding and resources to enable Deaf people to feel fully included in society

WDPC offers free information and guidance on a wide range of issues as well as specialist advice and support. We have a number of sensitive and experienced staff that can offer impartial and confidential instruction and aid to help you make the right choice.
